The former reality star was recently clipped from her job as contributing blogger for CouponCabin. The company said the mom of eight was not a good fit for the job ‘due to recent events’ — do YOU think it’s because of her abuse allegations?
After losing her job on the TLC reality show Kate Plus 8 last year, Kate Gosselin has been fired yet again. This time, couponing website CouponCabin.com decided to severed ties with the mom of eight, who was a contributing blogger for the site.
In a statement posted directly to the website, founder and CEO Scott Kluth said he decided to part ways with the former reality star for personal and professional reasons.
“A series of recent events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago,” he wrote. “Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at CouponCabin.”
In light of recent abuse allegations that claim Kate hits her kids and has thrown them by their hair, it seems like a good idea for any company to distance themselves from the former John & Kate Plus 8 star.
The site could also be referencing Kate’s constant need for media attention, which seems more important than focus on being frugal — she recently visited Access Hollywood and Bravo’s late night show Watch What Happens Live!
What do YOU think of Kate being fired HollyMoms? Do YOU think that was a good decision by CouponCabin?
