Taylor debuted a new song from her upcoming album ‘Red,’ called ‘State Of Grace,’ during the October 15 episode of ‘Good Morning America.’ Listen to the song below!
Taylor Swift says her new song “State Of Grace” is “about when you first fall in love with someone — the possibilities and kind of thinking about the different ways it could go. It’s a really big sound to me, the sound to me is like the feeling of falling in love in an epic way.” Who do you think she’s singing about?
“So there’s gonna be a new song preview from #RED on @GMA tomorrow morning at 7am ET, available on iTunes Tuesday!! Called “State of Grace”.” Taylor tweeted on Oct. 14.
In the song, Taylor sings, “And I never saw you coming. And I’ll never be the same.” We can’t wait to hear more!
Taylor will be LIVE on GMA on Monday, October 22, for an exclusive interview and back again on Tuesday, October 23 for a concert!
Despite the heavy promotion, Taylor told Rolling Stone that she wanted the album to remain a mystery for fans.
“I really want there to be so many surprises left on the record for when it comes out eventually, some collaborations that haven’t been talked about and some songs that are definitely what make the album so unique.”
“State Of Grace” will be available for download on iTunes on Tuesday (Oct 16) at 12:01 A.M. ET!
