Robert Pattinson’s NYC Trip Made Him Miss Kristen Stewart

Distance makes the heart grow fonder — and that’s exactly what happened to Rob when he spent the weekend in NYC, sources tell HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY!

Robert Pattinson appeared to be having a good time in NYC with BFFs Tom Sturridge and Sienna Miller on Oct. 5, but deep down he was missing Kristen Stewart. How cute!

Sources tell HollywoodLife.com that Kristen and Rob’s relationship is becoming stronger since they’ve been spending time apart.

“What is helping the relationship through the tension is being apart, but in contact. While he was in NYC and she was in LA it was a case of ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder,’” a source tells HollywoodLife.com.

While Robsten are back together–  it’s not a perfect situation. Rob, 26, is still dealing with mixed emotions about Kristen’s betrayal.

“They are definitely able to talk more and are definitely able to be in the same room and hangout, but there is still some weird tension, so for the press tour things are looking like they will go smoothly, even though they will not be together on all of them,” a source tells us.

We’re happy to hear they’re getting back in the groove of things AND that Rob was missing K-Stew while traipsing around NYC!

This double confirms that the mystery blonde – who Rob was spotted flirting with at the Electric Room in NYC on Oct. 6– wasn’t a threat after all.

the relatioship was real , dont loose confidence in your ability to judge people . people change with age . kristen did cheat , Rob was heartbroken now no one knows the status of their relationship . think of the lovely time you have had . Rob does seem to have broken up with her as cheating is so very hard to forget …but we will only find out during the bd2 promos or even later than that .

. Nobody knows what to think anymore about them. There are so many mean things being said about both of them that nobody knows which way to go anymore. All the hate out there is just sad. The worst part is robsten was probably just a PR stunt just to sell movie tickets. For the first time in my 38 years on this earth I actually let myself become star struck along with alot of women my age and what did it get us? I will always love the books and movies. As for rob and Kristen, I just don’t know anymore. If they really have been lying to their fans for 4 years then well they just don’t deserve our attention anymore.

Kristen has been consistently, from clear back on August 20, through jewelry, clothing, and words declaring that she and Rob are on good terms. What the Twilight world is waiting for is a like statement from Rob: irrefutably seen together, photographed together, or some kind of comment. Waiting until BD2 promotion just does not answer that question because that in the end is just work for the two of them. I think that Rob owes it to Kristen’s career to mitigate the PR impact of her scandal. What I would love is a photo of them together now, and a real statement during BD2 interviews about what went down. Kristen is responsible for her own actions, but both Rupert and Roberts are players somehow.

Woody88, I agree with you that they need to make a statement. Rob’s reputation and career are in jeopardy now too. The rumors are flying and they’re not good. If they want to salvage both of their careers and most of their fan bases they need to come clean. Most of their fans have either turned on them or walked away because they don’t know what to make of the rumor overload and nobody involved has said a word to defend themselves or anyone else involved. Fans are walking away out of pure frustration. Bd part 2 will suffer at the box office because even though everyone plans on seeing it they won’t go back and see it multiple times like they did the other movies. One and done. I think they need to make a statement before the premiere. Yes I think they owe the fans the truth. I do think the lack of statements crys PR stunt.

Yes they are together. They were seen at SoHo House having dinner 2 wks ago. They were with friends. The 2 were said to be very affectionate to one another. This restaurant does not allow cameras or cell phones. They cater to famous people and make sure they have privacy while they dine. Now Rob said in an interview last fall that for him a romance relationship is better when you are not together every min. He said absence makes the heart grow fonder. Someone brought this up again. But I doubt the info was from an insider.

Pattinson has obviously dropped her, they don’t live together anymore, they have not even meet since the affair.

She should move on and let him live his life instead of trying to get his attention. She is not getting him back

When you miss someone it shows how much you love them
Rob just look into Kristens eyes and you can see the love she has
for you she will always be loyal to you for ever she knows what she missed
and will never go that rout again. Please Please learn to trust her again you will be so
