MTV officially wrapped the reality hit ‘Teen Mom,’ but fans of the original cast had the opportunity to ask their favorite moms a few remaining questions on the TV special ‘Teen Mom: Ask the Moms,’ which aired Oct. 9 — and the moms were brutally honest!

The original cast of Teen Mom tied up a few loose ends during the Oct. 9 special, Teen Mom: Ask the Moms. After the series wrapped in September, fans still had some burning questions for their favorite moms — and nothing was off limits!   

One fan asked Amber Portwood what is was like being a famous Teen Mom, to which Amber replied, “I am in prison. Being a teen mom is NOT glamorous!

Catelynn Lowell, who gave her daughter Carly up for adoption during 16 & Pregnant, revealed she wants to be a mom one day with her soon-to-be husband Tyler Baltierra.

“I want five kids, but Tyler says ‘hell no!’” When asked what she was planning on doing, now that Teen Mom is over, Catelynn said, “going to college and getting a degree in human services to be an adoption counselor. Just doing normal stuff and fixing up an old house.”

Amber also wants to use her experience as a positive message to other young girls, and hopes to help educate other teens on the consequences of teen pregnancy and drug abuse.

Farrah Abraham, mom to 3-year-old, Sophia, said she is looking forward to opening up her restaurant F & S, which stands for Farrah & Sophia, and “writing books and hopefully doing more music.”

Maci Bookout plans to “finish school, get Bentley started in school, relax, and live my life.”

‘Teen Mom’ Regrets

The moms were also asked what they would change after looking back at the last three years. Amber said she would take back hitting baby daddy Gary Shirley on TV, which ultimately led to her downward spiral of court dates and jail time.

Farrah said she has no regrets, but admitted, “I would have incorporated [Sophia's dad] Derek more into our lives when he was alive.” Derek tragically died in a car accident when Farrah was still pregnant with Sophia.

Catelynn also has few regrets. “Everything I have gone though has made me who I am today,” she said.

Although being on a hit reality TV show was a big culture shock, Amber was brutally honest. “It was weird getting used to people knowing who you are,” she said, but added that she loves the attention!

‘Teen Mom’ Dating & Love Lives

And what about the moms’ love lives? When Maci was asked if she had ever hooked up with Ryan Edwards after they broke up, she admitted they did immediately after their breakup, but not within the last three years.”I am still not in love with Ryan!” she insisted.

Farrah revealed she wasn’t dating anyone, but her perfect dream guy would be, a “smart, rich doctor” or the exact male equivalent of her! “I would marry myself,” she said.

As a proper farewell, the moms gave advice for all the young teens who watch the show. “Teen pregnancy is crazy. I would use protection,” Farrah said. Catelynn and Tyler also “agreed we would use protection before having kids.”

We wish all the Teen Moms the best in their new adventures, and thank them for educating teens on the consequences of unprotected sex — being a teen parent is not easy!
