Looks like Honey Boo Boo has become so famous that she needs her own bodyguard around the clock. Unfortunately, the real reason the pint size reality star has a new bodyguard is because of recent kidnap threats!

Honey Boo Boo’s mama June Shannon has hired a 24-hour bodyguard to protect her youngest daughter, Alana Thompson. According to one report, Alana’s school received abduction threats. Oh no!

June Shannon Fears For Alana’s Safety

The National Enquirer reports that “June is terrified” and that security is being provided for Alana, 7, around the clock. A source told the magazine that there was a meeting for all of the teachers at Alana’s school and “they have been instructed to keep an eye on Alana, and they know to report anything suspicious immediately.”

June even confirmed the full time bodyguard hiring on her Facebook page, writing,  “Alana doesn’t go anywhere without her bodyguard! We have one 24/7 everywhere we go ALL the time!”

Honey Boo Boo’s House Broken Into

Apparently, an attempted break-in at the Honey Boo Boo household in rural McIntyre, Georgia on August 27 is also believed to have triggered concerns over their safety. The source says someone is convinced that TLC would pay a huge ransom if Alana was kidnapped.

Is The Honey Boo Boo Family Moving?

There have been conflicting reports with one indicating that Alana’s family wanted to relocate, but were legally tied down because TLC wanted them to continue living their regular lifestyle. However, TMZ reported that the network offered to help the family relocate, but June turned down the offer.

TLC had denied any kidnap claims.

Either way, we are happy that Alana is getting the protection that she needs.

Are you worried that Alana might get kidnapped? What do YOU think, HollyMoms?
