R-Patz may be quiet and introverted, but he gave up his privacy and anonymity to become a hugely successful actor. What does he think of this ‘price of fame?’
Robert Pattison had an amazing career opportunity with the Twilight franchise and though he’s going on to other projects now that the saga’s over, he has no idea if his success will last. And it looks like he’s completely okay with that.
Now that he’s done filming the Twilight movies, Rob is having mixed emotions: “It’s strange, I felt like releasing a big ‘phew’ of relief but at the same time I felt sad,” he told Star Club Magazine about his reaction to wrapping filming. “For now, I know that I’m successful. Will it last? I have no idea, but if tomorrow I encounter movie failures, I won’t cry about it.” Great attitude, Rob!
By playing Edward, which turned out to be the role of a lifetime, Rob says “I lost what I cherished the most: my freedom. Some told me that it’s the price for success. I’m sorry to disagree but I feel like it’s a price too high to pay.”

Rob, I am one of your most devoted fans but you are getting on my last nerve with your latest comments. You would really give up all the millions of dollars you have earned so you could have your privacy back? You wouldn’t be flying here and there at a whim, owning a beautiful home and wearing all those gorgeous suits, etc. Would you really give all that up? I am sure you have done a lot for your family and friends, too. You have always known the price you pay for a career in movies. Once the final Twilight film and publicity is over I am sure you can obtain a little more privacy in your personal life. So suffer, Rob! Thank the Lord for your heartstopping good looks, height and hair and go do good things with your life.
I also have no sympathy for your professed boredom. There are hundreds of good causes you could give your energy and dollars to. Helping others usually helps you the most. Do you know how to dance, ride a horse, play tennis or golf – learn some new things if you’re bored.
Sorry, had to get that off my chest. As an English woman I’m proud of your accomplishments and the fact that you have such a good reputation. Stay the course, baby boy.

Those paps were being so rude to him today while he was walking around in NYC. Im so sick and tired of “paps” making thousands of dollars by disrupting someones day or catching someone cheating when people who actually do great things that actually have an impact on the world hardly get nothing. Thd guy who caught kristen cheating (not even a paparazzi, just happened to be there) made 78,000 dollars by giving those photos to people magazine. Money is going to people who dont deserve it.
That the sick thing that will happen when other people think they know all about the story when they do not wait and investigate the story. That person is helping to spread a lie. Because if the paparazzi receive 78.000 dollars for the photos. The magazine lost money. That is because the paparazzi not take pictures of real people.Because Kristen and Sanders was not there.
