Plus, Emily finds herself face-to-face with one of her most dangerous enemies!

The Oct. 7 episode of Revenge found Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) plotting to eliminate Victoria’s (Madeleine Stowe) only remaining ally, her daughter — but just when you thought Emily was going to kidnap Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) and call her mother with demands, she played the sympathy card! By introducing Charlotte to her “sister” and showing her that she will soon be an aunt, Emily successfully manipulated Charlotte into sticking around the Hamptons for a little while longer.

But because Victoria is, well, Victoria, she had a plan of her own. And the most shocking part of her scheme was that she enlisted the help of Conrad (Henry Czerny)! Because the white-haired man turned on Victoria after she was unable to pay him for his services, she decided to turn the tables. She demanded that Conrad make it look like she had been beaten and kidnapped after the plane explosion, framing the white-haired man. Little do the Graysons know, the man managed to escape the police — and Emily caught everything on the clam cam!

Meanwhile, Daniel (Joshua Bowman) found himself knee-deep in money problems, trying to uncover his father’s intentions — but the numbers just weren’t adding up. Conrad hired Ashley (Ashley Madekwe) to watch Daniel and keep him away from his inheritance, but have no fear, Emily came to his rescue! Ems informed Daniel that Charlotte’s drug counselor tampered with her drug test, a plan masterminded by Conrad, thus turning Daniel against his father.

And while the Graysons were burying themselves deeper and deeper in their own mess, Nolan (Gabriel Mann) got busy hiring a CFO for his company, since it’s now being audited. Oh, and he remained pants-less for the majority of the episode!

Everyone in the Hamptons seemed to be affected by major test results this week, and Jack (Nick Wechsler) and Amanda (Margarita Levieva) were no exception. She turned to Emily to fix the paternity test results if need be, and as it turned out, Amanda did had a one-night stand when she left the Hamptons. In the words of Maury Povich, “Jack is not the father!”

But the biggest shocker of the night occurred when Emily received a phone call from the white-haired man, who was finally give a name: Gordon Murphy! He revealed the plan was to have Emily’s mother killed, since her testimony would have ruined the Graysons’ plan to take down David Clarke, but he did not follow through with his orders.

At the end of the episode, Gordon actually turned on Emily and held a knife to her throat, only to be shot in the back by Takeda’s male trainee we met in the season premiere!

It’s wrapped up! Emily’s mother will prove to be a bible-thumping psychotic! Two former lovers will get back together in a major, hot way and plot against another character! And – YES! – Nolan is the REAL seeker of revenge – not Emily! He set her up to complete his own agenda! Just wait and tick off these plot reversals.
