X-Tina reveals the cover art for her new album ‘Lotus,’ catching the singer in a pose seemingly inspired by Botticelli’s famous painting, ‘The Birth of Venus’! Read on for more details.

Christina Aguilera is preparing to release her new album Lotus in November. The singer has just released the cover art for the album — and it looks a little familiar!

The art finds the coach of The Voice naked, with her hair covering her breasts, as she emerges from a lotus flower, reminiscent of Botticelli’s 1486 painting “The Birth of Venus.” Christina, 31, debuted the art on her Twitter account on Friday, Oct. 5.

On Sept. 12, Christina took to Twitter to explain the title of the album, saying, “Album title: Lotus. Representing an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives.”

Lotus will be released November 13.
