The stylish star looked so pretty in an Oscar de la Renta gown — but she overdid it a bit with her chunky accessories!
Sarah Jessica Parker rocked Oscar de la Renta’s elegant tweed print gown when she stepped out at Carnegie Hall for the opening night gala on Oct. 3. At first glance this gown may seem a little under-par for an opening night gala, but when seen up close and personal, you can notice the beauty of the silver embroidery throughout. With a print as busy as this tweed number, it is important to tastefully accessorize.
While her statement necklace is so pretty, it was a bit too bulky for this ensemble — it takes away from the soft look of the frock! If she wore a dainty necklace, the clutter would have been eliminated and this look would be more refined. She finished off her get-up with a snake-skin Pierre Hardy bag.
While she looks so stunning, we think she should have listened to the motto, less is more! Do you agree?
