Lamar is back in a Los Angeles Clipper’s jersey and received a standing ovation Wednesday as he took the court at USC’s Galen Center for a training session. His proud father Joseph sat court side and Lamar, happy to see him, hugged and kissed his dad throughout the practice. HollywoodLife.com was there and has all the EXCLUSIVE photos and details.
While Khloe Kardashian chaperoned her two sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner at Justin Bieber‘s concert at Staples Center on Wednesday, October 3, Lamar Odom was a few blocks away in his first public training session with the L.A. Clippers at USC’s Galen Center, while his dad Joseph Odom sat court side watching Lamar kick butt on the court.
“When Lamar first saw Joe sitting court side, he immediately got off the bench and went over and gave Joe a hug and a kiss. It was an incredibly tender and genuine moment,” an onlooker exclusively reveals to HollywoodLife.com “Every time Lamar hit a three, or made an assist or stole the ball, Joe would stand up and cheer proudly. Lamar kept looking at his dad and would run over and hug him again and kiss him on the cheek. He even said ‘I love you pops.’”
Lamar wasn’t the only Clipper showing Joe some love. The entire team, including Grant Hill, Chris Paul, Ronny Turiaf and DeAndre Jordan all came over and hung out with Lamar’s dad.
“Grant said to Joe, ‘Hey pops, you all right? How have you been? Lamar’s looking good out there. We’re going to try to bring it (the Championship) back home. Love you pops,’” the onlooker reveals. “Chris came over and said ‘Joe, you’re the man. We love you. Glad to have Lamar here. We’re going to do it this year.’”
Our onlooker continues, ”After the scrimmage, Lamar had some one-on-one time with his father in the VIP section. Lamar took a bunch of pictures with Joe. Lamar was genuinely affectionate with his dad and kissed him more on the cheek and then they went off – just the two of them – for about 5 minutes into another room and had some father son bonding time. I think Lamar was crying a bit because there’s a history and Lamar probably wanted a private tearful moment with his dad.”
HollywoodLife.com has also learned that while the ink hasn’t dried on Khloe’s The X Factor hosting gig, Lamar is rooting for her and thinks she’ll be a great host.
“The two were joking about The X Factor and Lamar said something like ‘Khlo is the best, she can do anything. Happy wife means happy life,’ to which Joe said ‘All right son, go get some sleep.’”

Lamar take care of your career,don’t give up basketball we as your fans are concerned that your marriage to the K family will leave you in the dust when you start standing up for yourself.Being true to oneself.Because in the case of the K clan when that camera is turned off thats it. But in your case you have a real gift and talent,you will be remembered as a champion and a gentleman a gentle giant. Be careful please

Ummmmm!!!! let me see, thanks to the K family when his career is over he will be set, because Kris is making sure that he has other things on the back burner, most athletes career end and they end up broke in 2 to 3 years, and as far as the Kardashians they are making sure that when the Cameras end that they will be set up for life, they have built an empire very separate from the reality scene and that is why they will be around for a very long time, so if you THINK that once the reality TV is over they will go away, think again because they have solidified themselves in the branding , merchandising, fashion industry. This is just the beginning.
You better take care of your dad and spend a lot of time with him. He will be gone 1 day and you will feel really bad about not spending MORE time with him!!!

First of all that closeness that he now has with his dad was fostered by Khloe, she is the one that encouraged that relationship because of her strong family ties and the fact that he has a chance with his dad and hers is gone, aside from that your comment is the most idiotic sh*t that I have seen in a long time, you really need to get a life and deal with your inter racial issues and this is from a black woman.
