Simon isn’t worried about the Nicki Minaj-Mariah Carey fight stealing any focus from his show, a source tells EXCLUSIVELY! Read on for all the inside scoop.

The explosive fight between divas Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj on the set of American Idol has gotten the show a lot of attention, but former judge Simon Cowell isn’t concerned about the drama taking any focus off his current show The X Factor!

A source tells exclusively that Simon doesn’t really care about the American Idol feud, as he’s focused solely on this season of his show. Our source tells us that, with both shows airing on FOX and not airing in competition with each other, Simon isn’t paying this drama any attention. Instead, he’s focusing on having “the best show on TV.”

“Simon is happy that his judging panel is going to find the next big star, and not make it about themselves, and would rather put the focus on making and finding a worldwide superstar,” says our source.

Do you think that Simon is right to ignore the American Idol drama, HollywoodLifers?
