New ‘Vampire Diaries’ Video: Elena Admits She Loves Stefan & Damon

Talk about brotherly love! A clip from the new season of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ proves Elena’s just as Salvatore-crazy as ever.

Elena (Nina Dobrev) may have chosen Stefan (Paul Wesley) over Damon (Ian Somerhalder) on the third season finale of The Vampire Diaries, but after watching the brand-new cold open for season four — which premieres Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. on The CW — it’s clear she still hasn’t fully made up her mind.

The open includes voiceovers from the show’s main cast giving new viewers an idea of what life in Mystic Falls is all about, and when Elena says “the ones we love,” we’re shown two separate clips of Elena kissing both brothers!

But seriously, did anyone really think the love triangle was going to end that easily?

Is that the one with most views on YouTube and stayed number one on itunes for a while?

I think the ratings will be down this year also, everyone is sick of the triangle, even though it hasn’t really started. Thank the writers for that. You should be grateful, you’ve had your beloved Stelena since the first episode and they still continue to push it while it annoys and bores the hell out of alot of viewers.

Hate to tell you this, Elena will eventually sleep with Damon, it’s only a matter of time. But will viewers still care? I prefer a proper story and journey, not just feeding a fanbase one week and then the other one the next. People are starting to wake up to the fanservice.

Everybody knows that the Stelena episode had the same bad ratings. So the argument is bullshit. Many fans did not know that after the autumn break the series has started again. I find it hilarious how DE fans act like they make or break the show. Um the episode where DE made out and was heavily promoted as a DE episode is the LOWEST rated episode of all 3 seasons. And after Damon kissed Elena the following episode the ratings FELL! U don’t determine the success of the show so stfu and get over it. Elena made her pick

Damon makes the show, along with a good ensemble cast, without him the show would never have that continuous success, and the slow development of Delena,Stelena fans said the would boycott that episodes,because a Canadian newspaper leaked the Info. it was never heavenly promoted.and it still had millions of viewers without them. also a lot of people are just seeing season 3 now on DVD. Just 2 Delena videos, there last Kiss and a Dance, have almost 7 Million viewers and that is in just a few Months, more then all the sex and kiss scenes of boring stelena together, and that is besides all the other million views and almost million views on delena scenes. I can just imagine them having a love scene , it would go through the roof. Elena did make her pick for now, she said she can not think about always. She will remember all damon’s compulsion. She is afraid of the all consuming love she has for Damon. She thinks she is supposed to love Stefan because he is safe and was there when her Parents died. Even if they do not end up together in the End, to me there will always be that beautifull epic couple.

no offense, but it’s true. how would a show run on 30% (at most) of its viewers? many polls have shown that 70% of the fans are DE and that pretty much makes or breaks the show. what OTHER evidence do u have to back up your claim b/c I assure you, there’s far more evidence that DE has way more fans and therefore, DE could make or break the show. In the most logical sense, a show is nothing without its viewers. the viewers and the fans make the show. if the majority of the fans are DE, then they can make or break the show.

Wow only 24 comments in 6 days! This is just terrible. Shouldnt there be more comments for a season premiere? I knew alot of DE’rs decided since she picked Stefan they werent going to watch but this is ridiculous. I think what did it was that there would be Stelena sex, which I don’t want to see either.Just heartbreaking seeing the most dedicated, hopeful, cheerful DE fans hopes are shot…I didnt ever think I would see a couple of them talk like they are talking. :(

It’s terrible, but yes alot of DE’rs have left…and I don’t blame them. You can only tease someone for so long before they just say F*ck it..and stop watching. It’s not just DE’rs either, a lot of Damon fans are tired of seeing him craped on too. These recent spoilers just didn’t seem to give them anything worth watching.I bet they don’t make it to 6 seasons as planned.

Stefan was so selfish in 3×22. Damon left her to choose alone, while Stefan (for not losing over his brother) went to Elena’s house huged her..kissed her, because he was so afraid taht Elena should choose Damon.

Damon kept her alive and never lied to her or pretended to be somebody he is not. He left her 2 times, one time she almost died , he returned and saved her, the second time he was fighting for his life and to far away and she did die. stefan is a coward , because he lets her do what she wants but he knows Damon is there to save her, even elena said were where you Damon when he left and she almost died. Stefan allways badmouths Damon, because he can see how she feels about Damon. Damon never told on Stefan. Elena was fascinated with Damon from the start, she is just fighting it because she is afraid and thinks she is supposed to love Stefan, because he was there when her parents died. Damon consumes her and that is what love does.

Although I’m a Damon fan, I don’t actually hate Stefan, and I’ll agree that he’s done some unselfish things. However, Elena’s trip to Denver wasn’t one of them.

First of all, Elena isn’t a piece of property so Stefan didn’t “let” her do anything. She’s free to do as she pleases, when she pleases. Secondly, she and Stefan weren’t even together and hadn’t been for months and months. It wasn’t his business to pressure Elena into making some sort of choice between Damon and him. Thirdly, it was incredibly manipulative of both Elena and Stefan to to put Damon in this situation without him knowing what they were up to. He’s not always the nicest guy in the room, but he certainly has feelings and emotions and for his own brother and the girl who knows he’s in love with her to use him like that was thoughtless and mean. Fortunately, he’s a grown man and so didn’t burst into tears about it. (and got the hottest kiss of the entire series!)

Last but not least, after Elena comes back and tries to be open with him about what happened, Stefan doesn’t want to hear anything about it. That’s not being “fair”, that’s being in denial.

It’s hard to care about this show at all anymore. This bouncing back and forth between the brothers is gross fanservice, the Stefan/Elena relationship is so cheesy and cliched it’s hard to watch and the Damon/Elena relationship which might have actually been interesting doesn’t even exist. All of the other storylines that used to be fun to watch have deteriorated because of the focus on the main three.

Way too Jerry Springer, brother’s sharing 1 girl. Before the Delena’s start with there usual bullying. I’m not a shipper. I loved the great love story that was Elena and Stefan and I loved how Damon was the cool bachelor that bedded beautiful women. The show is kinda losing it/jumping the shark with the show being about Damon and Elena. Here’s hoping Caroline and Klaus can keep me watching.

stelena romance is too cheesy and too good to be true, julie plec has a epic romance in form of delena, hope she utilizes it soon, as according to me damon and delena and the storyline is the main usp of show, having said that i love Stephan too, but Damon is amazing
