Stephen Colbert co-hosted ‘Good Morning America’ this morning, Oct. 2, and he has some unique ideas about how the U.S. should be changed!

While Stephen Colbert was discussing the one thing he loves most (America!), he was posed with a question that seemed to be a no-brainer — if he could change one thing about America, what would it be?

“Fewer states,” he answered. “Do we need two Dakotas? In this economy we need to cut back.”

That wasn’t Stephen’s only idea for the U.S. He also mentioned that we should rename the United States. He insisted that we should refer to it as “America Plus.”

That’s it for Colbert 2012.

Do you agree with Stephen Colbert‘s new ideas?
