Rob knew his ‘Twilight’ costar was the love of his life — until her affair with Rupert Sanders. Now with their relationship on the rocks, Rob must decide if he can move forward with Kristen or let her go forever.
Robert Pattinson was devastated after finding out about Kristen Stewart‘s affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, especially since Rob believed Kristen was “the one.” While Rob is working to rebuild his trust with Kristen, the upcoming press tour for Breaking Dawn could bring the couple closer than ever.
“They were brought together again by a great friendship, so there could be hope. Robert thought Kristen was the girl he was going to marry,” a source close to the couple told Radar Online.
“However, that’s all on hold for the moment until they try and work things out. This could go either way,” the source added.
HollywoodLife.com learned exclusively that Kristen really wants the relationship to work, and is working hard to earn Rob’s trust back. She even gave Rob the passwords to her voicemail and email account to prove she has nothing to hide.
Rob also told Italian Vanity Fair in an interview that he doesn’t understand why people cheat, saying he can’t imagine keeping up two relationships at the same time.
However, he does believe in lifelong commitment and thinks young love can last forever. His parents met when they were very young — his mom was 17 and his dad 25 — so Rob still believes there’s a chance for him and Kristen.
“I grew up believing that you can be together all of your life,” he said.
The couple will embark on their worldwide press tour for Breaking Dawn — Part 2 starting on Oct. 6, so hopefully all of the time spent together will solidify their currently rocky relationsip.

Agree with Tracy 123 Kristen wanted commitment when filming OTR when he flew up to see her his mates told him this ,he cancelled flying home to visit parents and stayed on longer with her .
If Rob was planing engagement later on this year and was not attentive enough as has been suggested perhaps he should hv got on with his commitment a bit sooner.If what we read is true there has to be commitment on both sides if not the wedding then the engagement ,it looks like neither of them feels secure so commitment here is the key issue,after all an engagement can be called off if things don’t work out not so expensive as a wedding.Neither of them want all this heartache again so hope they continue to listen to themselves and not other people when making their decision it’s their lives no one else’s.Just go for it Rob life is all about choices at least you won’t be thinking back ‘if only’.if you don’t do it your way and her way.This also proves you have forgiven Kristen and you are supporting her the only way you know how by loving her as she is mistakes and all,let’s face it we all make them.As have said before no winners or losers here you can’t please all the people all of the time.which ever way this pans out please don’t hurt one another emotionally any more ,you both looked lifeless and drained so let’s have a happy smiling picture of both of you together on a happy night out showing a bit of PDA before BD2 promos so that all fans can be really happy for you both.

she dose not want to marry him , he want’s to marry her. I hope they marrie other people. rob acts to old for krsten. she needs to date other guys ,she is to young to marry him. she should wait until she older like 30 or 35.

Of course any plan to marry Kristen is on hold, she was caught cheating on Robert. She obviously has commitment and fidelity issues, those don’t get resolved in a few months. Right now it’s still questionable if the relationship can survive, let alone thinking of any deeper commitments.
I worry about the hearts of FANS who are still struggling in emotional chaos as the media continues to jerk our hearts around USING Robsten. She’s a great girl with weakness and Rupert the director saw that so he took advantage knowing Kristen’s looking for credibility as a good actress and he did help her for a price which is sex the Hollywood way. Her competitiveness got her this mess. I’m sure Mr. Sander’s meant well by helping her during their all nighter’s sessions. I dont think its he’s sweet kisses that she wants more? but thank you could have been enough. She’s still a great gal! the weakness can be fix.

I think They are no longer together and all That advertising. I’m guessing That before Cannes was a struggle, strife, anger, anger, Sulking, stupidity with Sanders because it’s for That ….. and end. What’s done in the dark will come out in the light and this is the biggest warning sign that no one can miss. So Rob better move on and never look back. KS has shown who she really is and I’m sure the warning signs were there but he chose to stay with her because of fame and fortune.

tthere were a lot of warning signs for Kristen as well. Rob has always been seen out parrying many times without Kristen. As soon as Kristen was out of the country he was in the clubs. I know a couple doesn’t have to be together. 24/7 but a club isn’t the best place to be when your woman is out working. If the tables were turned I’m sure Kristen would have gotten a lot of heat for it. And to this day he is still parrying. Somethings never change. Kristen don’t waste your time with rob anymore he is only going ti throw your so called cheating in your face. And you don’t need that in your life. Work, date and be happy and drop rob for good!

Robert did not want to marry her, there was a rumor just before the incident where Robert stated that his mother phoned him to check if rumors were true about the marriage and he told her, rumors were not true Google that and Liberty Ross also stated in a interview about a month before the incident how unhappy she was, had to give everything up for husbands career in UK Google that, I only hope Robert and Kristen get back together and will be happy!
