Kristen has done all she can to prove to Rob that he can trust her again, but Rob is reportedly still having trust issues. While that’s certainly understandable, read on to find out why I think he needs to get over it!
When Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson, she broke his heart and his trust. As the two are working to reconcile, a new report claims that Rob is still unsure whether he can trust Kristen and give their relationship another chance. I think it’s time for Rob to get over it.
I’m not saying that Rob, 26, shouldn’t feel hurt over what Kristen, 22, did to him. It’s entirely understandable for trust to be damaged after her tryst with Rupert Sanders. But Kristen has groveled and atoned so much that it’s unfair to expect her to any longer. The ball is certainly in Rob’s court, and his indecision is unfair.
If these reports are true, he needs to decide whether or not this reconciliation is something he actually wants. If he does, then he needs to commit to it 100 percent. It’s unfair to say that he wants to give things another try and continually have one foot out the door. Conversely, if he doesn’t want to reconcile, he needs to make that perfectly clear to Kristen and sever ties.
Enough time has passed for Rob to have come to a clear decision, so the fact that he hasn’t yet looks a little bit weak. Look, love is never easy, and I won’t pretend that Rob has an easy decision to make, but make a decision he must. He owes that to Kristen and to himself.
