Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Marissa and husband Zachary Bogue welcomed a son on Sept. 30. Congrats!

Marissa Mayer, whose pregnancy was controversial when she was hired as the CEO of Yahoo in July, welcomed her baby boy on Sept. 30. Her husband Zachary Bogue took to Twitter to share the good news.

“Baby boy Bogue born last night. Mom (@marissamayer) and baby are doing great–we couldn’t be more excited!” he wrote on Oct. 1.

The powerful businesswoman famously told Fortune magazine that her pregnancy won’t be an issue.

“My maternity leave will be a few weeks long and I’ll work throughout it,” she told the magazine in July.

Congrats to Marissa and Zachary!
