Sabrina Bryan and her partner Louis Van Amstel got the highest score of the season — a 26 — with their dazzling quickstep! See who else scored high in the Oct. 1 competition!
It’s only the second week of the all-star season of Dancing With The Stars, but the performances were worthy of the finals! Keep reading for a full recap!
Melissa and Tony danced the jive for a score of 23.5. Len loved their great technique while Bruno said Melissa is “very, very fit” because it was the fastest jive he’s ever seen!
Mark and Bristol danced the quickstep for a score of 18. “I’m a redneck,” Brisol said during rehearsal. Mom Sarah Palin was dancing and standing in the audience during her performance. Bruno said, “It was like the quickstep goes Gangnam style in the wild, wild west!”
Helio and Chelsea danced the jive for a score of 23. “It was a delicious treat of a jive!” Bruno said.
Karina and Apolo danced the quickstep for a score of 24.5. “Your footwork was incredible! Wonderful,” raved Bruno. “Someone put his competition pants on tonight,” joked Carrie Ann.
Sabrina and Louis danced the quickstep for a score of 26, the highest of the night and the entire all-star season! “Is it Miss Ginger Rogers? A true dazzler!” Bruno said.
Kirstie and Maks danced the jive for a score of 21. Honestly, Kirstie’s rehearsal commentary is hysterical! “Three lifetimes of Shawn is how old I am!” “The girl works hard for her money! Experience counts and you showed it! You played it beautifully, you raunchy mama!” Bruno said.
Emmitt and Cheryl danced the quickstep for a score of 22.5. “Red hot chemistry with Cheryl! Meow! Silky smooth!” purred Bruno.
Drew and Anna danced the jive for a score of 22.5. “Rough and ready!” said Bruno. “Welcome home, Drew” said Carrie Ann.
Joey and Kym danced the quickstep for a score of 22.5. “Joey, you do entertainment. It was like recapturing the 20’s! It was big and bold!” Bruno said. Len said he wasn’t the best dancer but he definitely had fun watching.
Derek and Shawn danced the jive with a gymnastics flair for a score of 25! “That was vibrant, exhilarating, eye-popping!” Bruno said. Carrie Ann dubbed them the “all star sweethearts!”
Kelly and Val danced the quickstep for a score of 22. “Pretty in pink and extremely elegant,” Bruno said of Kelly.
Gilles danced the jive with a strained thigh muscle with partner Peta for a score of 25.5! Carrie Ann compared him to John Travola while Bruno said, “Let the good times roll!”

I completely agree that some of the performances last night were finals quality, and this All-Star season is not disappointing. All of the dances that scored above 24 were amazing, and I think my favorite had to be Gilles and Peta. I was talking to a coworker at DISH who was quite overcome by Gilles man cleavage. I want to say that his chest had nothing to do with my evaluation, but I know I would be lying. I missed the show last night, but I was able to catch it off of a recording that my Hopper made for Primetime Anytime. It is so nice not having to set timers or worry about storage space, and I can keep up with all of my favorite shows. I hope Bristol is eliminated tonight because everyone else is dancing so well that I need to see more!
