A 19-year-old mother was arrested after admitting she left her baby by the side of the road in Illinois. Luckily, the baby was found alive! Keep reading for more details!
An Amber alert was issued after three-week-old Mia Graci Thompson was reported missing, with her mother saying she was abducted from her car while she was at the post office. The mother later confessed that she left the baby by the side of the road.
Mother Kendra Meaker admitted to local police that she dropped her baby Mia Graci near a creek in the rural town of Toulon, Illinois. Local Sheriff Jimmie Dison told the TV station WQAD that at this time, the father is not being charged.
The baby was found approximately 12 hours after the mother abandoned her and the baby is doing “fine,” according to the news station.
The mother is being held without bail in the Stark County Jail and will appear in front of a judge on Sept. 28.

there are NO excuses for what she did, she knew perfectly well what she was doing, i could never and would never leave my daughter behind, i dont even leave her with my mom to go to the grocery store. She is garbage and will rot in hell. I hope they dont let her near that baby, or let her have anymore children of her own
