Emily and Jef have finally spoken out about the scandalous report that Emily is paying Jef to stay with her! Read on to find out what they had to say!
In the midst of rumors swirling around claiming that Emily Maynard is forking over cash to Jef Holm to stay with her, the two have been traipsing around the San Diego film festival! And when questioned about the scandalous report — and tell-all interview given by Jef’s ex, Kaylee Shepherd– they denied it! We told you they’re OK!
“We just try to laugh about it and not read it,” Emily told to E! News. “I trust him, he trusts me, and that’s really the bottom line. We always make a phone call to our parents and friends and say, ‘That’s not true,” and at this point they’re like ‘We know.’”
Jef chimed in telling E! that this is the best relationship he’s ever had!
“She’s my best friend. We hang out together, we have fun. This is better than any relationship I’ve ever been in.”
Aww! As HollywoodLife.com previously reported EXCLUSIVELY, eyewitnesses around Charlotte, North Carolina, tell us they always look like a happy, normal couple.
“They look happy, hold hands, sit next to each other in the both. They’re a happy couple,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com about when they dined at The Palm restaurant.
This all comes after Jef’s ex, Kaylee Shepherd, did a tell-all interview with Us Weekly claiming the two are only together because Emily is paying him to save her good-girl reputation.
We’re happy to hear Jef and Em are out enjoying California — and that they didn’t hesitate to talk about their relationship!

Sorry but the whole premise of the show is ridiculous, I mean it’s good TV but come on, the reality of 2 people falling in love and actually proposing and the whole thing, just impossible.
