Cassadee Pope has everyone going absolutely wild! The 22-year-old shocked the judges when she performed on the Sept. 25 episode of The Voice. Cassadee used to tour with Fallout Boy but now that the band has broken up, she has her chance for a solo career!

Cassadee received a standing ovation for her performance and after a battle over who would be her coach — country crooner Blake Shelton prevailed!

“An artist isn’t an artist that’s like anybody else,” Blake said. “I believe with 200 percent of my heart that you, Cassidy, are a star.”

Once again not trying to be a hater. But Casadee knows Pete Wenz and was in the popular band Hey Monday why does she need to go on the voice to start a ‘solo’ career. I’m really sick of aeeing people like he,r Jordan Pruit, and Día Frampton -all people who have had popular music at a point coming on these shows. Not only do they have dedicated fans who are going to.vote for them, but they have all kinds of exprience that a person who sings at the coffee shop per say doesnt have. Its unfair, and as one of those unexperienced singers I have to say I.am.livid.

C’mon, the wannabees already have Idol and X-factors. Let the voice open for the unlucky ‘yet’ profesionals, will you ?

I love pope and the hey Monday band from before, but I agree with you she already has talent to market herself even if she was not on live tv its a little unfair that she is a pro competing with those who are not, but that’s how the world is. Many people have the ability to become millionaires, but few actually become one.
