Rob opens up in a newly-released interview about how K-Stew persuaded him to play the iconic part of Edward — he’s loved her for so long!
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have always had an epic romance, but now we know why Kristen’s shocking affair devastated Rob SO much: she was his creative inspiration as well!
Rob, 26, spoke to writer Phil Thompson in 2008 about taking the role of Edward in Twilight – after learning he would be working with Kristen, 22.
“We just didn’t want to make it a teeny movie. I mean, because and that’s the reason Kristen being in it was like it was my insurance. I mean, she was on a good role of classy jobs. And so I was just thinking when I found out she was doing it, I was like, ‘Well, this isn’t gonna be a silly movie.’ Because why would she want to do a silly movie when she was on a roll.”
Rob also talks in the interview about how he was able to get into character as Edward for the first Twilight film.
“It wasn’t really one of those parts where you could put on the coat or put on the shoes, and you kind of feel different. I didn’t really feel any different. And it worried me. But a lot of the stuff which works was just not…I didn’t talk to any of the cast about anything other than the film for at least a month and a half of the shoot. And it creates a strange aura around you, and people don’t really know what to make of you.”

No, I don’t think that Robert and Kristen will back again. He is so much hurt and don’t understand: why the people are cheating at their partner. So he believe that two person that will be in love don’t cheat at its partner. And when someone have that Idea its so difficult to forgive and forget. I think that if the ppl, who are against these two as they don’t like any of their projects, then don’t bother writing comments that are so negative about them, just ignore any news that has anything to do with rob, kristen or any of their projects, cuz ull be just wasting ur time!
I hv no idea if these two are together or if they are trying to work out their problems, I and the rest of u have no clue about their personal lives, other than a couple of photos!
I mean I am no one to judge, I like both of them on the same level, maybe rob a bit more cuz the stupid things he says makes me laugh, but they are both good at their careers!! I’m no mad fan of theirs, but I still like them!
Kristen hurt many of the robsten fans by cheating on rob, but the reality of all this is that ppl make stupid mistakes, and in their own little private bubble they Learn from their mistakes, but Ppl like kristen hv to have their mistakes written on the front pages of all the glossy mags and sites like this, is crazy and really piss taking, mostly if kristen hates talking about her day to day life suddenly having ur privacy exposed to the world!! She did bad really bad- cheating is something I’m totally against! I think Robert and kristen should get back together, and work things out between them selfs. Robert wants a commitment from Kristen, Robert wants to marry her so Kristen except this commitment and marry Robert. Robert loves Kristen and wants to work things out he wants to make the relationship work. I wish them luck and best wishes to both good luck and long life to both. I am a fan to both Robert and kristen love them both.

robert was a fan and groopy.. of kristen long before he met her. just like one of her fans now.. so basicaly she hooked up with a fan of hers.. thats why all his admiration to her, and the love, and the tender loving looks he gave her, in all the pictures. he put her on a very high pedestal. and she didnt appreciate it. and maybe she looked down at him sometime from a “high place” that he put her..and maybe both of them took each other for granted.. so now if they reconcile, he needs to “equall” her to him, and she needs to “equall” him to her, and start from a healthier place, as much it is possible. and appriciate what they have, and not take anything for granted.. thats just my opinion. lots of love happines and succes for both of them. and best wishes.

Sometimes face value is best. Rob left Kristen alone with Rupert Sanders month after month in England. Few relationships survive that kind of neglect. He should have been going to the gym with her! He was unemployed. What was he doing instead? I trust he has learned some valuable lessons. No one owns anyone else. They are in a relationship. This means that every day is new.
