In a newly-released interview, Rob admits that sparks flew early on the set. It proves how torn up he was after K-Stew cheated on him!
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have had an incredible romance, and even though their love is still on the rocks, Rob admits that he felt a deep connection with her from the start!
Rob, 26, spoke to writer Phil Thompson in 2008 about hitting it off with Kristen, 22, as soon as they started working together on Twilight.
“I definitely felt like there was some kind of, I don’t know, connection or something. I definitely had a reaction to her, which I really wasn’t expecting.”
Rob also talks in the interview about how he was able to get into character as Edward for the first Twilight film.
“It wasn’t really one of those parts where you could put on the coat or put on the shoes, and you kind of feel different. I didn’t really feel any different. And it worried me. But a lot of the stuff which works was just not…I didn’t talk to any of the cast about anything other than the film for at least a month and a half of the shoot. And it creates a strange aura around you, and people don’t really know what to make of you.”
