Miley is so excited for the release of her new album! In a BRAND-NEW interview, Miley reveals the release dates of both her new single AND album. Read on for all the details!
Miley Cyrus appeared at the iHeartRadio Music Festival this weekend and spilled intimate details about her upcoming album as well as when to expect the lead single!
“I wanna make a sick record,” Miley told Billboard.
While some have wondered why Miley has dedicated so much of her time to her new haircut and fiance Liam Hemsworth, the former Hannah Montana star has actually been very hard at work on her new album. In fact, she wants to make it perfect before it’s released!
“I’ve been in so many sessions and just kind of bunkering down and working really hard and perfecting everything,” she added. “I’ve never really had time to do that, to kind of have my record kind of ‘done’ and then sit there and make it until it’s perfect. So, it’s been really, really fun. This whole year that’s all I’ve really dedicated life to.”
Miley has released three studio albums with Hollywood Records — two of them, “Meet Miley Cyrus” and “Breakout,” topped the Billboard 200, while her last album, “Can’t Be Tamed,” reached No. 3! For this album, Miley’s been meeting with different labels to see who will release the album. Her relationship with Hollywood Records remains unclear. Could this be the holdup?
