Chris appeared in court to answer questions about his community service in the case of his assault of Rihanna and it was revealed that he’d failed a drug test! Read on for all the details.
Chris Brown appeared in court on Monday, Sept. 24 for a probation progress report hearing regarding his felony battery of Rihanna, and probation documents revealed that Chris had failed a drug test in Virginia on July 18, where he was performing court-ordered community service!
According to the report, obtained by TMZ, Chris told his probation officer that he smoked marijuana in California, where he has a legal prescription, but failed the test in Virginia, where medical marijuana isn’t legal.
The judge stated that she had never ordered Chris to undergo mandatory drug testing as part of his probation, so she didn’t hold it against Chris. Talk about a lucky break!
A source close to Chris tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “He cool now man, he hate going to court and s***. He [knows] what he [has] to do and he’ll do it. He [wants] to be respectful to the courts and the judge and everybody – [Chris justs wants] a normal life…and do his music. He don’t want no drama and just [wants] to [be] off probation.”
