For the past three years, Rihanna has released a new album just before Thanksgiving and it looks like she doesn’t plan on breaking from that pattern this year!
“#NaviLife #comingsoon http://rihanna7.com,” Rihanna tweeted on Sept. 22.
This new album would be Rihanna’s seventh following Music of the Sun (2005), A Girl Like Me (2006), Good Girl Gone Bad (2007), Rated R (2009), Loud (2010), and Talk That Talk (2011).
With it being the seventh album and a new website titled “Rihanna7,” do YOU think the name will simply be 7 a la Beyonce’s 4?
In an interview with iHeartRadio, Rihanna confirmed that the lead single from the upcoming album is called “Diamonds” and she will premiere the song on September 26! Rihanna described the track as “happy and hippy” and that it’s “different to what people would expect.”
The “R” logo in the photo above is made up of a collage of words which could be song titles and lyrics off her next album. In addition to “Diamonds,” some of the other words include “What’s Love Without a Tragedy,” “Just Want to Be Found,” “Complete Woman,” “I Want You to Stay,” and “Chapter 7,” a report by Vibe points out.
As Rihanna has reportedly rekindled her relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, following a kiss at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, maybe we’ll even hear a song or two about him on the alleged new album!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Is this Rihanna’s new album cover and title?
