In an honest new interview, K-Stew reveals that she can fend for herself — even as she gets hate from Rob fans. Find out what she had to say in these raw new quotes!
Kristen Stewart drew the ire of fans worldwide when it was revealed that she cheated on Robert Pattinson. But in a newly-released interview, she admits that fame can take a toll on you — but she’s not afraid to stand up for herself!
Kristen, 22, talked to author Talia Soghomonian about managing life in the public eye.
“On the Twilight sets, towards the end, I found that people didn’t really talk to us anymore, which was weird. It was like they possibly were even told: ‘Hey, leave them alone. If you don’t have a reason to talk to them, don’t just go up to them.’ And I hate that. Don’t protect me, I’m fine, it’s like, now you are just completely isolating me, so thanks. And then it makes them seem like you are the one possibly who said that to people, which is like, do not represent me, ever. That is the most horrifying idea that that happens unbeknownst to me, but I am sure it does. Just really annoying.”
We’re glad that Kristen is keeping her head after the scandal — it was just a mistake!
The full interview will run in Talia’s new eBook, titled Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner — In Their Own Words.
Do YOU think Kristen will be able to handle fame after her affair, HollywoodLifers?

Kristen has always seemed to have a good head on her – someone who does a pretty good job of keeping things in perspective. Dang, too bad she isn’t as perfect as Bella on top of everything, huh Ladies? We all STILL have so much to say… My hope has always been that they can work this out while putting all this craziness aside – that’s got to be damn hard to do. NONE of us can possibly know if they should or should not be together. But maybe this is the perfect time for them to re-look at whatever it was they had and either re-embrace it or allow it to morph into something else. There is no reason why they can’t remain really good friends no matter what happens with their romance. I worry about the hearts of FANS who are still struggling in emotional chaos as the media continues to jerk our hearts around USING Robsten. U KNOW these Twilight obsessions were PREVENTABLE and THAT’S why many of us are STILL so crazy right now. Hollywood intentionally causing young, obsessed fans this kind of pain is wrong. TIME to start thinking about putting blame where it belongs – Stephenie Meyer’s BOOK PUBLISHER for their professional negligence in allowing Twilight to be published with SUCH an amateurish, overly-addictive “writing style” toward our impressionable young girls.
