The 33-year-old mom of four reportedly asked relatives if they would take her baby when she was pregnant, according to her sister-in-law Janice Shannon. Janice said that although she and her late husband Jimmy (June’s brother) were willing, it never happened because June never officially gave up her parental rights.
Anna was then apparently shuffled around between her mom’s house to her grandma Sandra Hale‘s house, so that June could move into a trailer with her boyfriend, sources told the National Enquirer.
“Chickadee,” now 18, and mother of baby Kaitlyn, 2 months, and June reportedly don’t have a good relationship at all, and Anna only agreed to move back in with the family for the cameras.
“Anna was in her grandmother’s custody, but she was still desperate to get away from June officially,” Caleb Clark, 19, Anna’s ex-boyfriend of two years and the alleged father of her baby, told the magazine. “June was a lousy mother to Anna.”
“You can see it,” he added. “Anna still resents June and stands apart from the rest of the family. When the cameras are turned off, Anna doesn’t have much to do with any of them.”
Caleb is seeking custody of Kaitlyn to get her “out of that house and away from that family,” but can’t take legal action since Anna refuses to agree to paternity test.
