Lindsay Lohan‘s troubles with the law never seem to end. The actress was arrested outside of the Dream Hotel in downtown New York City on Sept. 19 after allegedly hitting a man with her car, and then leaving the scene of the accident.
When she was pulling in to park her Porsche Cayenne near the hotel, she allegedly hit the knee of a 30-something pedestrian at a very low speed around 2 a.m. EST, TMZ is reporting.
Apparently, passengers in the vehicle got out and checked for damage, and Lindsay went inside the hotel. After someone called the police, Lindsay was arrested while walking out of the hotel around 2:30 a.m. EST.
Lindsay was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident (a misdemeanor), according to TMZ, then released without having to pay bail. Alcohol was apparently not involved.
Although the victim went to the hospital, he was not knocked down and did not have any injuries.
“While some of the facts are still being gathered, it appears that this is much ado about nothing,” Lindsay’s rep told HollywoodlLife.com exclusively. “We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the coming weeks and the claims being made against Lindsay will be proven untrue.”
