After four years working on the ‘Twilight’ movies, Kristen said it became a circus, and she loved having other projects to do so she wouldn’t go crazy! Read on to find out more details.
There’s no doubt that working on the Twilight Saga propelled Kristen Stewart to fame — and her choice of movie roles. But she said that it was her other work that actually kept her sane!
“Thank God, I had the opportunity to do smaller movies like The Runaways, Welcome to the Rileys, and On the Road in between [shooting the Twilight films]. Otherwise I’d probably have turned mad,” she told Glamour Germany in their October issue.
The 22-year-old cover girl also described the madness that has constantly surrounded the Twilight movies.
“You can’t let this whole circus irritate you. I will always have good memories about Twilight, and I had no clue what would happen when the first movie came into the theaters,” she said.
“I took the role because I love movies. Of course movies are just entertainment, but to many people particular films mean so much more. I’m one of these people. Movies can tell you something about life, they can help you understand it better, they can wake your interest, or be the reason why you question certain things. They can be f***ing important.”
