The unnamed female photographer that snapped topless pics of Kate is reportedly taking desperate measures following backlash from the royal palace.
Kate Middleton is demanding jail time for the photographer that took 200 pictures of her sunbathing topless in France during a vacation with her husband, Prince William. But the question remains: Just who is the photographer in question?
According to the UK’s Daily Mail, Valarie Suau has admitted to taking pictures Sept. 7 of a scantily clad Prince William and Kate on the terrace of a multimillion vacation home owned by Viscount Linley, the nephew of Queen Elizabeth. However, she claims to have had nothing to do with the topless images of Kate, which were taken at Chateau d’Autet.
The racy photos were published by French magazine, Closer. The royal couple has instructed their lawyer to seek “the stiffest punishment possible” (including one year of jail time) for the violation of Kate’s privacy.
Closer’s editor, Laurence Pieau, plans to fight the legal action and has refused to name the photographer who took the damaging pictures.
“Valerie is naturally concerned by all the fuss and is in hiding,” said an employee of the publication. “She is adamant she has done nothing wrong.”
Do YOU think the photographer who took the pictures should serve jail time?
