Bill Hader hilariously spoofed Clint Eastwood’s infamous chair skit from the Republican National Convention! See the video and read on for more details.
Saturday Night Live premiered on Sept. 15 and no skit was more hilarious than Bill Hader’s spoof of Clint Eastwood and his chair from the Republican National Convention!
The skit turned Clint and his chair into a two-hour road show that “audiences are giving a sitting ovation.”
Clint originally dissed President Barack Obama on August 30 while pretending the President was sitting in a chair behind him at the RNC.
What did YOU think of the spoof, HollywoodLifers? Watch below and tell us what you think!

That was easily my favorite sketch of the night. Hader has that character down to a tee, everything from the voice, to the high pants, and the faces. Also the jabs as senility, “no set tour dates or venues”, make it such a funny character. I was talking to a coworker at Dish about the sketch, and she loved how he ended up talking to random people instead of Obama. I am so glad that I tapped last night’s show on my Hopper’s huge hard disk; I must have watched that bit 4 times now showing it to different people. Hader is maybe the best one left on SNL, and last night he showed that he can carry at least a few bits every week.
