Emma believes that Kate’s nude photo scandal is her own fault! Read on for all the details.

Emma Roberts blasted The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton on Twitter after her topless photos were published!

“I LOVE Kate Middleton…but when you’re A PRINCESS you shouldn’t be topless anywhere except the shower or the bedroom,” Emma said on Twitter.

Our own Editior-In-Chief Bonnie Fuller would have to agree that sunbathing in the nude is a bad idea if you’re a princess.

Was curious, and it was interesting the poll is nearly 50/50, yet the comments loudly disagree with Emma.. Not a fan of Hollywood and, further, of royalty or seein anyone as above anyone else.. As a person, though if Emma thinks no one should be topless that’s her perspective, but that

Kate and William were in a private place, so if she wants to go topless in private she can. But the paparazzi didn’t give them the privacy.The paparazzi are in the wrong not Kate. The paparazzi are soul suckers. Besides she isn’t a princess she is a duchess. Royalty is determined by blood, she isn’t blood. Anyway Harry was completely naked when he was photographed why isn’t he getting crap too? Just leave Kate alone.

Actually, she is a princess. Just like the Queen’s husband is a prince. “Queens are made, Kings are born.” Every title except that of King can be acquired by marriage.

also, she shouldn’t be talking for someone who wore next to nothing at Coachella this year. At least Kate was in a setting which to her, was meant to be private. But Emma was out in public with her shorts undone, real mature.

a yeah.. why is the topless bit important? and not the privacy breaking??
so the lady was tanning topless.. big deal.. many women do it and she is no better, no more special or appart for being part of the royal family.. the royal family is firstly made of people that should be regarded as people when doing things that other people do.. all this puff with ”ooh the royal family” is a bunch of waste.. they are no more special than others.. they have been lucky to be there and they have a specific set of responsabilities and rights
give the lady a break.. she is a woman that cares how she looks like and wanted a nice tan.. royal family or not is her right and all this teenage behaviour about modesty limits is ridiculous… where these people got their modesty canons, from chauvinistic desert dwelers?
be more angry that paps are using those monster cameras to get where they are clearely not wellcome or for that matter accepted.. she was inside her home..

Over in Europe the attitude is not as silly prudish as it is her in the USA. Was it an invasion of privacy absolutely!. A fellow GI took a picture of my topless wife over in Germany at a swimbad. And I beat the crap out of him

They were on vacation! She does have rights to sun bath without a top on. Unless you think it’s right to have rights for common people except celebrities/royals. She felt safe and was having fun. I feel like Kate can’t do anything without the world talking/questioning it. She drinks wine so she’s pregnant. A seam is loose, so that means she’s pregnant. She takes time to relax and sunbath. We can take pictures. She’s skinny, so you say your worried about her. Then she gains barley any weight and again you think she’s pregnant. All this obsession with her is sick. I hope you notice the sarcasm at times. Leave the poor girl alone! I can’t imagine how she deals with all the pressure, paparazzi, and fake stories. You don’t care about her and neither do the paparazzi or magazine writers/photographers. All any of you want to a juicy story whether it’s true or not. I hope some day you learn to just shut the f**k up! Goodbye and i’m done with the website and all gossip. Unless it’s from their lips i don’t believe it. Bye lying, heartless, ignorant trash. It doesn’t matter if anyone thinks that breasts are a sexual thing – unless you’re a baby what exactly are they for?

As for the pics of Kate – Her own fault? Really? Let’s see, now. Kate and William were on a VASt estate in the French countryside, on some sort of balcony/deck which means they were just outside the house. The pics were taken with a telephoto lens which means the photogs could have been and most likely were 1 to 2 miles away. Add to that the fact that the paps have admitted they were miles away from the house where William and Kate were staying and what you get is a couple who went to extraordinary lengths to make sure they have a private venue before they DARED act like young couple just past their 1-year anniversary. Maybe Emma Roberts thinks Will and Kate should lock themselves in a closet in Buckingham Palace and never come out again. She should at least get the titles right – Kate is not a princess. She is a commoner who, upon marrying William, becamse a Duchess. And since Julia Roberts’ latest movie “Mirror, Mirror” basically bombed, she hasn’t had successful movie in years, and her Dad Eric Roberts is more famous for the trouble he always got into and his feud with his sister than his acting credits, Emma should be grateful she’s even noticed.

Yall act like yall have never seen a pair of tits before. Just because they belong to a princess its some big thing? Calm down! Paparazzi are scum for even trying to take pics of a private moment between them two anyway. I dont care if it was outside or not. This isnt a big deal. And the closer magazine was stupid and thats why they took the pics down off their site yesterday as soon as they realized they were taking legal action. Just because they were having an intimate moment out on their balcony or w\e does not make it okay to be flashing your cameras around taking pics. Probaby werent even suppose to be there. No respect. Boobs are boobs. Get over it. Life goes on.

Exactly! The Western world has sexualized every aspect of the naked human body, and we’re supposed to feel ashamed of it. Especially women. If I were Kate, I would blow it all off. She has an amazing physique, she was with her husband and close friends. The ones to be ashamed are those who took pictures of her private moments.

Her acting has nothing to do with the fact that she is 100% right. While these pictures of Kate Middleton are obviously an obscene invasion of privacy, when you’re a princess, and in the public eye as much as she is, you no longer have the option of being this ‘careless’. I don’t like to say that she was being careless because yes, she was on private property and on vacation but still. Its sad that it has to be that way but its just the way our world works. I am however disgusted with the magazine for continuing to go through with publishing the photos as well as other magazines that are following in their footsteps and not worrying about the legal matters because they were not the first to publish or have them. Its gross.

You don’t get it either. Kate is not a princess. She is a commoner who, when she married William, became a Duchess. And Emma – AND YOU – are both dead wrong. Kate and William really do know who they are and went to extraordinary lengths to secure their privacy because of it – privacy tha they have a right to have just like the rest of us. These photos were taken from a couple of miles away. The house where they stayed wasn’t a hut on a beach – it was an estate in the French countryside.

As for “the way our world works” that’s a cop-out. The reason people get away with that doing this sort of thing is because the targets of these stories give up, hide, give up their lives and nobody does anything about it. It’s fabulous to see a young couple – a young woman – who is refusing to stop living her life and refusing to allow this to happen to her.

When it comes to public figures, be they royalty, entertainers, athletes,etc. we do not have a claim on their every waking moment and being known does not make it open season on every aspect of their lives. Janet Jackson was sunbathing in the nude on her private property behind security gates that did not allow a clear view of anything but there was a small slit where the gate meet the fencing and a photog snapped a picture of Janet laying on a chaise lounge. Because of her position you didn’t see anything clearly, just enough to know she wasn’t clothed. She didn’t have a right to privacy in her own home? A litlte girl who, along with her parents, were guests of George Clooney at his home in Italy had her picture taken while she was in the bathroom of her guest room. That litlte girl and her parents, or George, should tolerate that? And don’t forget Princess Diana – whatever you think of the crash and whatever you believe,she did NOTHING but live the life of a single mother. And the paparazzi pursued her with no mercy anyway. This WAS NOT Kate’s fault.

Clearly, “LittleMo” it is the way the world works or else there would be no story at all. When you become a celebrity, by choice or not, people follow you, people talk pictures of you, and people invade your privacy. I never once said it was her fault. I stated that she’s in the public eye so she has to make smart choices. I also did state that I find its disgusting that such a thing would happen, but it did. And as for her not being a princess, it doesn’t f*cking matter. Duchess, princess, whatever she is, she’s in the public eye and she’s aware of that and that was my point; not that this is her fault, not that the paparazzi are right in this situation. And I’m sorry it doesn’t matter how far away or close up these pictures of them were taken… don’t be naked outside.
