Kristen may have upset a lot of people with her cheating ways, but good friend Taylor has has chosen to stand by her side. HollywoodLife.com has all the EXCLUSIVE details on how Taylor is supporting his down in the dumps co-star.

Unlike Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart doesn’t have many close friends. However, her good pal Taylor Lautner has been one of her strongest supporters behind the scenes. Taylor has been a source of strength and inspiration for his heartbroken and devastated good friend.

A friend of Kristen’s tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Kristen is still extremely fragile. She is not sure who she can trust so she is leaning on just a few of her closest friends. One of those friends is Taylor Lautner. He has been by her side every step of the way, offering his support and unconditional love.”

“They have always been really close friends. Kristen knows he has her back behind- the-scenes and will be there for her during all the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 publicity tours,” said the friend.

“Taylor knows that Kristen messed up, but he doesn’t treat her like she is a bad person. They text each other a lot and talk on the phone and his friendship means the world to her, especially right now.”

The friend adds, “It’s not like Taylor is taking sides. He also really cares about Rob Pattinson, but he knows Rob is already getting tons of support plus he has always been better friends with Kristen. They have a very special bond.”

Robert is NOT edward.
Rob wa hurted and he has feelings, don’t you understand???????????
hope you never be cheated on, then you will know what Rob is feeling.
Robert loves kristen, maybe he forgave her but he doesn’t trust her anymore, and I know a lot of that.

It seems like New Moon where Edward leaves and Jacob stays to pick up the pieces and give Bella support untill Edward returns because she saved him from commiting suicide…because he loves her so much he can´t live without her.Do you think this might happen wih them?What I know is, this story of theirs will make a hell of another movie and book!!!!

@nonna- he IS walking the red carpet at BD for ur information. And just because rob left her doesnt mean that he didnt love her. That man supported her when everybody called her awkward and weird. He had her back by not talking about the affair and not commenting on rude remarks about her. Just because the dude might have values and one of his vaules is to not accept cheating than thats his issue. Respect that. Damn. Alot of ppl dont take their partners back after they cheated. They move on and find someone that they hope wont do that to them. There isnt anything wrong woth that. Have respect for peoples values and morals.

I think it is funny how some say she has no friends or no close friends lol the girl has more friends they any of you. Yes Rob has friends as well they BOTH have many friends. Not only does Kristen have celebrity friends she has childhood friends that have been in her life lol if you think she is hurting for friends. As for Taylor anyone with a brian would know he is there for Kristen and if he had to pick he would pick Kristen and that is a FACT he is friends with Rob yes but he and Kristen have always been closer. Rob and Kristen have moved on for this it is not a big deal YOU PEOPLE NEED TO MOVE ON. Also HL STOP saying A FRIEND OF KRISTEN TALK TO YOU MO ONE TALKS TO YOU.

Of course he is her friend,Robs too………this is hollywood, relatioonships come and go but true friends are rare. Rob seems to be worried about his image and not about why he loved (?) Kristen in the first place.,for this I am sad. I hope the truth prevails in this mess……….

And whoever said “no, he’s betraying Rob”, how exactly is that really betraying him? Friends are there to support you, not judge you. If Rob thinks that he is being betrayed by him then he is just silly, Kristen doesn’t deserve to have all of their friends to turn their back on her, friends should really pick sides.

I am really glad that someone has stepped up to the plate to befriend her and to be beside her for this. The only thing I am upset with, is that Rob left her to twist in the wind. yeah, she cheated, and he was/is heart broken, but he coulda asked that people to stop the insanity. But alas, he didn’t.
Oh well,i think they are back together,in secret.
