Kristen Stewart has had to lean on her friends like Scout Taylor-Compton and Taylor Lautner in the wake of her split from Robert Pattinson. She has another former co-star in her corner, as well — Dakota Fanning.

In a Twitter Q & A with Glamour UK magazine, Dakota, who co-starred with Kristen in the Twilight films and The Runaways, was asked if she would like to work with Kristen again. Dakota answered, “She’s one of my best friends & I’d love to work with her.” Aww, so sweet!

Dakota, who plays vampire Jane in the Twilight films, was also asked what she liked the most about making the movies. She answered, “Getting to be a vampire and wearing red contact lenses.”

YOU KNOW MANY MANY YEARS AGO A WATCHED THIS MOVIE “PANIC ROOM” AND I SAW THIS VERY YOUNG ACTRESS ALONG JODIE FOSTER PLAYING HER DAUGHTER AND I SAID TO MYSELF WHO IS THIS YOUNG GIRL??? SHE’S FANTASTIC, WELL OF COURSE WE ALL KNOW NOW IT WAS KRISTEN STEWART. I SAID BOY SHE IS GOING TO BE A BIG STAR SOMEDAY.
TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO KNOCK HER ACTING HAVE NOT SEEN ALL OF HER MOVIES, OF COURSE EVERY ACTRESS HAS SOME DUDS, EVEN MERYL STREEP HAS HAD HER SHARE OF DUDS. SHE’S A LOVELY YOUNG LADY. IF SHE WASN’T SO FANTASTIC ROB WOULD HAVE NEVER GONE OUT WITH HER FOR 4 YEARS. Kristen says that they talk/text all the time. Truly close. I am sure that unlike the rest of us, Dakota knows all the gory details and still finds it natural to support Kristen in public by being positive.

The tweet she did is not defending her. She is just not putting her down. i am sure she thinks what Kristen did was wrong and she may have even told Kristen that.

Sorry sister but Hollywood actors still love Kristen and yes respect her. You see THEY KNOW HER they know she is human and humans make mistakes THEY ALL make mistakes no matter the size of mistakes. She did not kill anyone she did not committ a crime she kissed a married man something MANY people do. The only ones who hate other are Robs fans that have hated her for years. She has her fans her family her friends her Hollywood peers. No one cares about her kissing pics but you and well she never needed you before and does not need you know.
