Demi Lovato could barely contain her enthusiasm after hearing your heartfelt rendition of Nina Simone’s ‘Feeling Good’ on ‘The X Factor.’ She said she’s obsessed by you and now, so are we at HollywoodLife.com.
Carly Rose Sonenclar, when you announced on last night’s, Sept. 13, episode of The X Factor, that you were going to sing Nina Simone‘s soulful ballad, “Feeling Good,” L.A. Reid was skeptical.
“Have you rehearsed this song?” he asked you incredulously. After all, Carly Rose, you’re just 13 and you said you’d be singing “Feeling Good” which is a deeply expressive but challenging tune calling for a huge amount of range.
But from the first notes out of your lips, the four judges were astounded. Britney Spears‘ mouth literally dropped open — she is so honestly expressive.
Then you kept on blowing them away. Your 13-year-old face matured before our eyes.
“Honey, you may be 13, but your soul is old,” raved L.A. Reid. Amen — so true!
Britney, told us that all the judges had fallen in love with you and called you a “little diva,” but meaning it in the most positive, operatic way. Finally, Demi Lovato announced that she was “obsessed with you.”
Well, as it turns out, you’re not an amateur even at your young age. You’ve been singing since you were two, made your Broadway debut at the age of seven in Les Miserables and in 2009 appeared in the national tour of Little House on the Prairie the Musical, starring Melissa Gilbert.
Nevertheless, none of what you’ve done already has gone to your head. You couldn’t have been more humbly shocked by the judges reactions and then you tweeted that, “This has been one of the best nights of my life,” when you got off the stage. So sweet!
Carly Rose, L.A. Reid told us all after hearing you sing — “Remember this day everybody. A star is born!”

I don’t think you would have to worry about Carly Rose Sonenclar as it is she has got it all
with good stage presence and is a very humble kid she has a very good head on her shoulders she could be as sucessfull as Jackie Evancho is as it is both of these two girls are very level headed people especially for there age.
I am hoping that David Foster will ask Carly to appear on one of his shows in the year 2013..
