HollywoodLife.com spoke to the talk show host on Sept. 13 about the break up of our favorite Hollywood couple and he offered up some advice! Read on for what he thinks Kristen should do!
Jerry Springer knows a thing or two about cheaters, he’s been interviewing them for 21 years! HollywoodLife.com spoke to Jerry about his gig as the resident host for The Price Is Right Live stage show at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, NJ., and he talked to us about Kristen Stewart‘s cheating scandal and whether he’d want them to come on his show!
First off, Jerry, 68, says Robsten can’t come on his show because they’re famous, darn! But he does say that since Kristen got caught cheating on Robert Pattinson with Rupert Sanders, instead of coming clean on her own, it makes him wonder if she’s truly sorry.
“[Cheating] doesn’t have to end a relationship,” he tells us. “It can, but the only way it doesn’t, is if the person who did the cheating, is not just sorry they got caught.”
Jerry goes on to offer some advice to Kristen and it’s actually pretty wise.
“Someone has to want to be with you as much as you want to be with that person,” he says. “A person can’t fool or embarrass someone into being with you. Therapy can work but not always. The other person really has to want to go through the counseling to make it work. What so often happens is that one person wants it more than the other. You’ve got to want it as much as the other person.”
