With The X Factor premiering Wednesday, Sept. 12, many are still eager to find out who will be joining Khloe Kardashian as the latest host of the show. Well, it appears that Simon Cowell, who wants two hosts, has been gunning for Nick Jonas, Kevin McHale and Mario Lopez, to name a few! But its still up to FOX to make the final decision!
Nick, who has also been rumored to be Demi Lovato‘s mentor this season, may pull double duty, as he is well liked by FOX executives. They would like to work with Nick to provide a “younger demographic,” as he was also once considered a potential judge on American Idol. Kevin, already a part of the FOX family with his role on Glee, had a test run of sorts hosting this year’s Teen Choice Awards alongside Demi, and is also highly considered for the much sought after gig.
HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned, “It looks like the guy host for the show is coming down to some of these selections: Nick Jonas, Kevin McHale, Mario Lopez, Corbin Bleu, (Former G4 Host) Kevin Pereira or a complete unknown,” our source tell us, adding, “And just like the situation with Randy Jackson coming back to Idol because they couldn’t get a deal squared away with another judge, it looks like if all else fails, it could possibly be just Khloe Kardashian. But that would be the last case scenario.”
FOX officially says, “No comment.” But our sources have mentioned to us, “They should be finalizing the guy choice in the next seven days!” We can’t wait!
