Josie came into this world at one pound, six ounces, and that’s meant a long tough road, filled with MANY doctor’s visits for the youngest Duggar.

Josie Duggar was born three and a half months premature, and just over one pound. Two years later, she’s the Duggar’s miracle child weighing in at a healthy 23 pounds and finishing up the last of her RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) shots, on 19 Kids And Counting, on Sept. 11. Way to go Josie!

Josie’s not the only little baby in the Duggar family nowadays. Michelle and Jim Bob‘s two little grandchildren are growing up fast, and daughter-in-law Anna is a stay-at-home mom so she doesn’t miss a minute of her children’s lives.

Anna’s happy for the women who are finishing up school and starting their careers, but she’s also proud of her choice to start a family with oldest Duggar son Josh and their two children, Mackynzie and Michael. Glad Anna takes a healthy, responsible approach to being a young mother.

All You Can Eat

We’ve seen the Duggar pantry this season, but where do the kids go to just snack? Why, “The Snack Fridge” of course! And there’s one item in the specially marked fridge that the whole family can’t live without — PICKLES!

Grandma Duggar Does It All

Michelle and Jim Bob can’t do it all with 19 kids, so a few years back they called in reinforcements. That would be Grandma Duggar. She helps around the house (70-80 loads of laundry a week) and with taking care of all those grandchildren.

“Grandma just needs to go on a vacation once in a while, just to get away,” Michelle says of Grandma Duggar, “the matriarch of the family.” You said it, Michelle!

Jill and Joseph appreciate their grandma so much, they take her to their church’s “Widow’s Banquet,” where she can talk and tell stories with all the other women who have lost a spouse. Aww, how nice to think of granny!

How To Save A Buck With Josh And Anna

Growing up in such a large family, Josh learned how to save money and Anna helps by buying her growing kids’ clothes at the consignment shop. She scores big with a ton of outfits for only $119. Actual retail price? $385. Can we throw in a brand new car for that thriftiness?

Josie Goes To The Doctor

Finally it was time to take Josie to the doctor for her last respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) shots. Because of her premature birth, doctors advised that Josie have the shots for the first two years of her life to ward of colds, the flu and other viruses that could really harm her weak immune system.

Josie’s no dummy. When she gets into a doctor’s office, she knows what’s coming next and it’s not good. She shed quite a lot of tears getting her shots, but it was all worth it in the end for little Josie — free kitty cat stickers!

What do you think Hollywoodlifers? Are you proud of little Josie for being brave during her last RSV shots? Tell us that and what else you thought about the episode in the comments below!

I would love to get some of the oldest Duggars girls away and ask some serious questions. Like do they really think all they are good for is raising their parents children?A few are over 20 and they are doing nothing . Nothing but “learning” to be good wives. Creepy! They are like stepford wives…we are programed to recieve. Do they really think they have nothing better to offer the world other than cooking and cleaning birthing children and letting their husbands rule over them?Like I said before…creepy and scary!!!

The oldest duggar girls are the real troopers. They are still at home catering to the boys.Doing all the child rearing…the cleaning…the teaching, while waiting on daddy duggar to choose a husband for them so they can start all over again. When you see the duggars out and about…its the oldest girls caring for the younger ones. Ma and Pa duggar are smooching and holding hands without a care in the world.Ma and Pa only hold a younger child for a photo opt…Its pretty sad.
