After meeting up at the MTV Video Music Awards and sharing a kiss on Sept. 6, Rihanna and Chris Brown are in a really good place. Rihanna’s proud that Chris is growing up and doing well, a source reveals to us!
A source close to Chris tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively “They on a whole new level right now man – you feel me?” “[She's]…proud of [Chris] for winning awards and giving back to the community and being a role model. That’s what kind of s*** [he's] on right now…” our source tells us, adding, “[Chris is] doing his thing and [he's] being good. That’s what’s up.”
As for his community service endeavors, Chris recently teamed up with Jenesse Youth Advocates and its youth advocate group The Change to host a special Back to School Festival to support Jenesse kids on Wednesday, Sept. 5 in Los Angeles. The Jenesse Center is a national non-profit domestic violence intervention and prevention organization that provides a holistic, comprehensive program to nurture victimized families back to a place of mental, financial, physical and emotional well-being.
About working with Jenesse, Chris said, ““It’s in my heart to show my fans, my friends and family and the families at Jenesse who stood by me they were right to give me another chance. I’m working hard to make them proud.”
