Kristen took inspiration from her role in ‘On The Road’ — find out how she’s using the film’s lessons to put her life back together after breaking Robert Pattinson’s heart!
Kristen Stewart was devastated after she cheated on Robert Pattinson, but she has revealed in a new interview how her role in On The Road is helping her cope with the heartbreak!
Kristen, 22, took many life lessons from the story, she tells our sister site Movieline.
“If this has taught me anything, it’s just that if you stop thinking and just breathe through it, you’re such a better actor,” she said. “You just have to do the work initially and then trust that you’ve already done that work and not get too analytical. You have to trust that you’ve already completed that effort.”
Kristen also opened up about what it took to play an adventurous character like Marylou.
“To play a part like Marylou, she’s very vivid and colorful but also on the periphery. You don’t know her heart and head and the how and why she does what she does. By the time that it came to film, I didn’t want to play her simply as this character that is just a wild and sexy girl. With the research we were able to do, applying the whys and getting to know the people behind the characters makes you think about the book differently.”
Do YOU think Kristen is coping well with the aftermath of her affair, HollywoodLifers?

@Dave: you may be right. I know what you’re saying. I do disagree with “she doesn’t feel pain.” Oh, no…the little girl certainly feels it. You can see it in all the interviews. It haunts her. But, you’re right perhaps in other regards. Is she going bite Rob again? That’s the question. It’s up to Rob to figure it out. If I were Rob, I’d talk to her…I’d try to understand. But, her actions would have put our relationship back 10 years…and we had dated for only 3!!! We’d probably be friends, at most! I wouldn’t take her back. Funny thing, I love Kristen. I think she’s a really good gal deep down. But, unfortunately, her actions send a warning shot to ALL guys who may come near her: Is she going to cheat on me? it’s a lose-lose. She screwed up big time…the poor thing. I feel and pray for her.
