The designer debuted vivid pastel-hued eyes and rainbow-streaked hair to match his NYFW Spring 2013 runway collection—here’s how you can copy the crayola-inspired look!
Peter Som certainly wasn’t shy with color when it came to the makeup for his collection! Models wore different versions of two-tone eye shadow shades in hues that looked as if they came straight from an artist’s palette.
Here’s how you can recreate the look:
Face:
Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Gel was massaged into skin to instantly hydrate and illuminate. Face & Body Foundation was then blended over skin to perfect and tone.
Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder was swept over skin to polish and set.
Eyes:
Brows were brushed upwards and groomed. Sunshine From Spring ’13 Forecast/ Eyes (available Spring/ Summer 2013) was applied with fingers over the eyelid.
M·A·C Pro Paint Sticks varying in the following tones: Hi-Def Cyan, Gebuibe Orange, Landscape Green, Marine Ultra and True Chartreuse, were blended with Pure White Paint Stick and then applied from the crease to the brow with fingers, creating a pastel-ombre effect over eyes. M·A·C Pro Landscape Green and Marine Ultra Paint Sticks were used to smudge a dark spot directly above eyes under brows.
Lips:
Luxe Naturale Mineralize Rich Lipstick (available spring/summer 2013) was blended softly into lips.
