To complement the designer’s collection, hair was wavy with a modern sleekness—if you like the look, we found out exactly how to recreate it! Read on for details.
Monique Lhuillier’s Spring 2013 collection was complemented with an edgy hair look created by Odile Gilbert for Kérastase Paris. The top of the hair was slick to almost wet and the bottom fanned out in mermaid waves.
To get the look, here are the exact steps:
Create a middle part and from mid-lengths to ends, spray hair with Double Force Controle Ultime and use a three-barrel iron section by section to create polished, crimp-like waves. Make an extreme wet look at the top of the head by applying an ample amount of Elixir Ultime (Tip: for a more everyday, natural shine, apply a pea-sized amount of the oil). Apply more Double Force Controle Ultime at the top of the head and smooth it down behind the ears to keep the look in place.
