Summit Entertainment may have been worried about Kristen’s affair when it happened, but now a source close to Summit tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that they feel the scandal will HELP box office sales! Read on for all the details.
Twilight bosses were reportedly freaked when Kristen Stewart’s affair with Rupert Sanders emerged, but they may be seeing the silver lining of her split with Robert Pattinson.
A source close to Summit Entertainment tells HollywoodLife.com that they are now seeing the cheating scandal as a good thing. “Whether Rob and Kristen get back together or not, they know they have all eyes on them and they are going by the adage, ‘No news is bad news.’ [Summit] is happy that they will be getting tons of press for the film that some movies can’t even imagine getting. At first they were worried about how they would do the press tour with both [Rob and Kristen], but now they know everything will work itself out and if they need to be separated at anytime they will. But they anticipate Rob and Kristen will be professional regardless.”
Christian Serratos, who plays Angela Weber (Bella’s human friend) in the Twilight saga, agrees and told Us Weekly that she doesn’t expect the scandal to affect the way the film is received. “Of course people are fans of us now, but I think above anything, they’re fans of these characters,” she told the magazine. “I don’t think anyone’s really [going to] give a s**t. They’re [going to] see the movie; it’s going to be awesome.”

U KNOW these extreme Twilight obsessions were PREVENTABLE, and SO many Twilight Fans are STILL in emotional turmoil because of this Robsten breakup PR stunt.
