Matin Maulawizada, Global Artistry Director for Laura Mercier, created the retro meets minimalist look for the Spring/Summer 2013 Pamella Roland Presentation–here’s how you can recreate the look!

Matin describes the makeup for Pamella Roland’s Spring 2013 presentation as “a melange of 1960s glamour and Pamella Roland’s clean, geometric aesthetic that can be worn with ease by the modern woman.”

To achieve a flawless face, Matin applied Laura Mercier Foundation Primer followed by New Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Créme Compact SPF 20. Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc in Pink Mosaic was then heavily applied to the cheekbones to create a glamorous effect.

Matin applied Laura Mercier Créme Smooth Lip Colour in Angelic to achieve a subtle and clean lip color. He also noted that if the lips appear too dark or pink, Laura Mercier Eye Canvas can be applied beforehand to neutralize the colors.

The eyes are the focal point of the look. He drew a thick upward wing with the New Laura Mercier Artist’s Luxe Liquid Liner (available October 2012). A matte, neutral eyelid was achieved using Laura Mercier Eye Canvas.
