Famed actor Morgan Freeman is NOT dead! Somehow, he became victim of an internet death hoax.

Phew! We can all breath a collective sigh of relief — actor Morgan Freeman is NOT dead.

“Morgan is alive and well, and joins the long list of actors who have been victimized by this hoax,” his rep told E! Online.

Death hoax rumors seem to start on Twitter, but Morgan has been a victim of this rumor many, many times. He also joins Eddie Murphy and Bill Cosby as fellow death hoax victims.

Thankfully, Morgan is alive and well.
