Gabby Douglas & Robert Pattinson Dating? Canoodling At The MTV VMAs

Kristen Stewart, watch out! Gabby Douglas and the rest of the Fierce Five were flirting with Rob backstage at the MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday Sept. 6! Read on for all the details.

Robert Pattinson may or may not be single, but he’s definitely ready to mingle! The Breaking Dawn — Part 2 actor was spotted hugging and chatting with McKayla Maroney, 16, Kyla Ross, 15, Gabby Douglas, 16, Jordyn Wieber, 17, and Aly Raisman, 18 – America’s favorite gymnasts — behind the scenes at the MTV Video Music Awards.

MTV live streamed the “Talent Prep Cam” on USTREAM and Rob, 26, was spotted getting extra friendly with the girls on Thursday Sept. 6.

While Rob seemed to be chipper during the ceremony, Kristen was busy promoting On The Road at the Toronto Film Festival. Afterwards, she had a lonely dinner — she sure seems to be missing Rob. But is he missing her? This new photo seems to prove otherwise.

@ Samantha: Thank you for the details, and for clearing that up. I agree, he looks polite,and that is pushing it. He did not look overly enthused to be there, maybe he was missing Kristen, or maybe it i because he is around a bunch of giggling girls, with the only legal one being 18. Andmabe he was also there in “support” of Katy. They have been friends for years. I did not watch any of the live cams, just the show on tv and the live stream that did not have a very good picture of the red carpet. From what I have read, Rob hates these venues,and I really do not see why: Fans love to see him,and even tho he does not owe them ( us) anything, it still would be nice to see him at awards shows, to show us he has not forgotten us ” little people” ,that made him who he is.
I am deeply grateful that he is one of the few remaining celebs that still is polite and courteous to his fans.
This has been an amazing journey,the last 5 years,and I only hope he does not get burned out and fade away, like many others have.

Why are you saying he got it on with the 5? I watched the live video feed and he didn’t spend any time with them. Not only that he walked in and didn’t even notice them standing there. A stage manager had to go over and ask him to speak to the five which he spent a FEW min. with them and then went on stage to present BD2 trailer. Do you think you are the only ones who could see back stage? I watched it on the MTV website where they had cameras back stage, prep room, hallway, and coming off stage. You could view every area at the same time so stop lieing about what went on back stage in the prep room. Several of us watched Rob and the other cast members as hey went from one area to the next. Rob was courteous to the girls like he is to every fan but didn’t act very enthused to be there, He went back to talk to Wynk Godfrey after a few min and left to go on stage.

You are an idiot to say that Robert was being extra friendly with a bunch of kids. I saw the prep cam and he was asked to go over to them. Robert was being nice to the Fierce Five because they are fans. THE FIERCE FIVE ARE AMAZING ATHLETES and I’m very proud of them but they are kids. That is a terrible thing to start after everything that has already been said for the last few months about him.
