Simon fuels the rivalry between Britney Spears & Christina Aguilera in a candid new statement.
The battle lines between The Voice and The X Factor have officially been drawn. Simon Cowell, X Factor creator and judge, claims NBC is going against its “gentleman’s agreement” with Fox by adding a third premiere night for The Voice on Sept. 12, which puts it in direct competition of The X Factor‘s official launch.
And Simon is convinced the major move was because The Voice is worried about losing viewers, as judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato are far superior to Christina Aguilera.
‘The Voice’ Vs. ‘The X-Factor’ Premiere Ratings — Simon Cowell Is Thrilled
“Britney’s not going to appreciate the fact that Christina — who has been a bit of a rival — isn’t allowing Britney to have a night of her own,” Simon tells TMZ. “This is a cynical, cold-hearted, unprofessional way of doing business.”
Simon believes Britney is “going to be devastated, because she’s put her heart and soul into this.”
So here’s the real question: Which singing competition show will YOU tune into Sept. 12, The X Factor or The Voice?

Umm…Christina is FAR more talented/superior than Britney and Demi put together. It’s pure delusion to think otherwise, if you honestly think they even come close to her you are in denial. Christina is smart and articulate with her critiques, she promotes positive reinforcement and is one of the best singers of all time. She might not have been as commercially sucessful as Britney or Demi, but she is true representation of talent and art.
