It’s been five years since Rihanna and Chris have performed together at the MTV Video Music Awards. Do YOU think it’s time for an all-new joint performance at the Sept. 6 awards show?
Rihanna and Chris Brown’s joint 2007 VMA performance was named the winner of MTV’s Hottest Debut Performance poll — and Rihanna is showing fans on Twitter just how proud she is of her partnership with Chris!
“‘@MTVNews: #TeamBreezy! #RihannaNavy! You did it! http://ow.ly/dseMm #VMA #VMAat8′ #phuckyofans,” Rihanna tweeted after MTV congratulated the fans on their voting efforts! Rihanna’s hashtag message of “phuckyofans” seems like a dig at those naysayers who aren’t fans of Rihanna and Chris together!
Chris and Rihanna beat out the likes of Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber!
Plus, Rihanna text Chris a few days ago, telling him to make sure he’s at the awards show on Sept. 6, a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively!
Could Rihanna’s tweet and text be indications that a new joint performance is on the horizon for tonight’s 2012 MTV Video Music Awards? We hope so!
Rihanna’s planned performance will currently pair her with both A$AP Rocky for the official remix of her Talk That Talk single “Cockiness,” and house DJ Calvin Harris for their nominated global smash “We Found Love.”
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Will Rihanna and Chris perform together at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards?
