Katie stunned in a signature Carolina Herrera look — a long sleeve black button down paired with a gold metallic skirt — in her first public event since divorcing Tom Cruise and moving to New York City.
Katie Holmes, 33, presented the Designer of the Year Award to Carolina Herrera at the 9th Annual Style Awards! But we were amazed by Katie’s style!
Katie took the stage looking slightly nervous but was warmly received before presenting the award. We loved her feminine look, including the black embellishment on her gold skirt and her fun, gold stilettos.
Held at The Stage at Lincoln Center on Sept. 5, the event was presented by Penske Media Corporation (PMC), Style Media, and IMG Fashion. The afterparty was held at Stone Rose Lounge.

i think she looks nervous but gorgeous! you go katie…after being with tom, her soul was practically taken from her. look how she changed during their relationship. she went from being a bubbly girl to so dour she barely smiled anymore. she’s well rid of him.
