After eight years of speculation, Drew was convicted of murdering third-wife Kathleen Savio.

Former Illinois police officer Drew Peterson was found guilty on Sept. 6 of killing his third wife, Kathleen Savio, and making it look like an accident.
When Kathleen was found dead in a bathtub in 2004, her death was initially ruled an an accident — but it was reclassified when Drew’s fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, mysteriously disappeared in 2007.

Stacy is still missing and is presumed dead. Though Drew is a suspect in the case, he has yet to be charged with the crime.

Drew faces a max of 60 years in prison.
